AQUACONDA

LEARN MORE ABOUT AQUACONDA2023-12-27T07:43:45-08:00

This family water ride is an aquatic resemblance of the largest snake in the world- the Anaconda. While not to be feared like the snake, this serpentine style family ride is one of four six-passenger raft rides at Wild Rivers.

Hop into and get seated in a giant circular raft with up to six of your friends to begin your adventure. However, like the legendary green snake this ride isn’t tame and has a bite. Your descent begins in an open flume, but quickly changes after a quick turn as you enter a fully enclosed flume. As the raft picks up speed you’ll oscillate back and forth with each turn riding the walls. But beware the Aquaconda awaits with a sudden surprise drop into the splash down pool for the thrilling finale. Aquaconda is likely to become a family favorite!

Bora Bora Boomerang

LEARN MORE ABOUT BORA BORA BOOMERANG2023-12-27T07:51:09-08:00

Get your mates together, board a raft, and hang on tight on Bora Bora Boomerango, one of four thrilling, family raft rides at Wild Rivers.

Climb aboard a raft to begin an adventure with several other sheilas and blokes. The experience starts by navigating a winding, open-air flume. However, don’t let the tame start fool you mate, as soon you’ll be accelerating towards an abyss where you and your mates are left to plummet down a ripper drop to face a giant wall.

Like the curved flat piece of Australian wood, your raft, will boomerang up and back down the giant, steep wall.
What makes this ride so sick is the moment where you and your raft mates will feel totally weightless! This is what makes Bora Bora Boomerango one of the most bonzer waterpark rides in the world!

Pelican Plunge

LEARN MORE ABOUT PELICAN PLUNGE2023-12-27T08:02:58-08:00

These giant ocean birds with a wingspan reaching just over six feet, soar high above the water looking for fish. When they spot their prey, they turn into a shooting arrow and plunge at high-speed straight for the water.

Take flight on Pelican’s Plunge, where you and a friend seated in a tube take on the role of the Pelican. Prepare yourself as your ride will start with a steep dive into the water. Like the bird, at the bottom of this drop you’ll swoop up and ascend an uphill section of the flume propelled by a stream of water.
You’ll then soar around an enclosed section before diving again and ascending a second hill. The first half of this experience is similar to that of a roller coaster.
Pelican’s Plunge continues inside an enclosed flume that leads to the final element, the Rattler. Like the bird celebrates with a mouthful of fish, you’ll cheer aloud inside a giant tumbler, rocking back and forth as you float towards the splash down pool.

Shaka Bay Wavepool

LEARN MORE ABOUT SHAKA BAY WAVEPOOL2024-02-10T12:54:43-08:00

In the Hawaiian Islands the shaka sign is an expression of friendly messages like “hang loose” or “take it easy”. To make the shaka, you curl your three middle fingers while extending your thumb and baby finger. This gesture towards others is known to spread the aloha spirt.

At Wild Rivers Shaka Bay is the place where you can take it easy and hang loose in cool blue waters and catch a wave for a little excitement. At 25,000 square feet this wavepool offers guests plenty of room to spread out and play. Shaka Bay also has two separate beach entries for easy access.

Young children can jump in the gentle waves that roll into the small beach or from the large beach you can swim into the main surf zone to ride the waves while floating in a tube or attempt some bodysurfing.

When you catch the perfect wave and your face lights up with excitement, raise your arm and give us a shaka to show your approval.

Tomcat Racers

LEARN MORE ABOUT TOMCAT RACERS2023-12-27T08:20:12-08:00

This is not your typical mat racer! Standing atop a 5-story tower, racers take their starting position lying face-first on their mat in one of six starting lanes. When the ride attendant gives the go, the race begins.

Your experience starts as you slide face first into one of six fully-enclosed AquaTubes that begin a 360-degree downward spiral descent. In route the excitement builds with light shining in colorful patterns through the Aqualucent tubes. With your speed increasing as you descend, each of the tubes realign (about the riders being side-by side) to begin the open air finale…a six-lane, side-by-side, steep plunge into the run out.
